" ถ้าเราถามเด็กนักเรียนว่าไปโรงเรียนเพื่ออะไร คำตอบที่มักได้รับก็คือ ไปเรียนหนังสือ ถ้าผู้ตอบเป็นครูอาจารย์ คำตอบที่ได้ก็อาจเป็น ไปสอนหนังสือ แต่สิ่งที่แฝงอยู่ในคำตอบของทั้งสองฝ่ายคือ การเปลี่ยนแปลง ครูเปลี่ยนแปลง (หรือที่มักเรียกว่าพัฒนา) ลูกศิษย์จากที่ไม่เคยรู้ไม่เคยทำ ให้กลายเป็นคนอ่านออกเขียนได้ คิดเลขได้ รู้เรื่องต่างๆ ทั้งใกล้ตัวและไกลตัว สามารถทำสิ่งใหม่ๆ ที่ไม่เคยทำ ดังนั้นเป้าหมายของการสอนไม่ว่าเรื่องใดก็มีจุดมุ่งหมายเดียวกัน นั่นคือ สร้างการเปลี่ยนแปลงในตัวผู้เรียน และการเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้คือ การเรียนรู้นั่นเอง"

My PULSE assignment has extended to 6 months

Many thank all of you especially Khun Boyd and TET for always encouraging me for Pulse wonderful journey with NGO (Path Thailand). This is an opportunity for me for continue contribution to them and communities till 9 February 2011.

May I sharing my assignments :

1) Conduct training for teachers on comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) .. project target 15 schools
2) Monitor and support targeted schools in Sisaket in implementing school-based CSE program …. project target 15,000 students
3) Build capacity for youth groups to conduct sexual health promotion activities among their peers
4) Plan the outreach program to reach vulnerable groups i.e. men who have sex with men (MSM), karaoke workers, students in private dormitories, motorcycle gang, etc. to promote LOVECARE sexual health services …. project target 30,000 youth
5) Organize events to promote youth participation in promoting youth sexual health
6) Support Sisaket People Living with HIV/AIDS in conducting parenting education package in 2 districts in Sisaket
7) Reviewer and helping financial management with People living HIV/AIDS and Path officer
8) Data recorder about " Confidential HIV/STIs testing and counseling " that is very important duty must keep it confidential about all patients data.
9) Suddenly assignment due from national agenda (วาระแห่งชาติ).. need for prevention “ unplanned pregnancy " " Unplanned pregnancy (ท้องไม่พร้อม) ” 25 schools 2,500 students in Sisaket

I work everyday , since I came Sisaket, I have worked with many people here …. Provincial Public Health Office, NGOs network ,youth, parents, teachers and People living HIV/AIDS … helping 4 staff (admin & finance, 3 project coordinators) and also working with staff from Ubolratchathani.


OOPS!! Please not be faint while looking for targets !!! …those are not easy and also not hard to complete it………..I have 3 Rs quotes “Respect other, Self respect and Self esteem” always be aware of the "I am better than you" attitude………..

For myself …. even sometimes I got exhausted …..It is not discouraged….

เครือข่ายผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี/เอดส์ : ด้วยแรงกาย แรงใจ

เมื่อเอ่ยผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี คุณนึกอะไร ?? ....คำตอบที่ได้อาจจะหลากหลาย ......นึกถึงโรคเอดส์...วัดพระบาทน้ำพุ .. ผู้ป่วยเอดส์ที่มีตุ่มแดงๆ เต็มตัว ....ผู้ป่วยที่รูปร่างผอมๆ ดำๆ หนังหุ้มกระดูก ..นอนอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาล ทำงานไม่ได้...

ผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี ต่างจาก ผู้ป่วยเอดส์อย่างไร?

ผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี : ผู้ที่มีเชื้อเอชไอวีอยู่ในร่างกาย ระดับภูมิคุ้มกัน (CD4) ปกติ ดำเนินชีวิตได้ตามปกติ

ผู้ป่วยเอดส์ : มีภาวะภูมิคุ้มกันบกพร่อง มีโรคหรือกลุ่มอาการที่เกิดจากภาวะภูมิคุ้มกันบกพร่อง (เช่นวัณโรค, เชื่อราในสมอง ฯลฯ)

สถานการณ์เอดส์ในประเทศไทย

จำนวนผู้ป่วยเอดส์ 369,803 ราย

เสียชีวิตแล้ว 97,933 ราย

สถานการณ์เอดส์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ

อยู่ในอันดับที่ 5 ของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ

จำนวนผู้ป่วยเอดส์ 6,726 คน

ปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่พบมากที่สุด คือจากการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ ร้อยละ 92

เครือข่ายผู้ติดเชื้อเอชไอวี/เอดส์ จังหวัดศรีสะเกษ

รวมตัวกันเมื่อประมาณ 2545 เพื่อทำงานด้านการป้องกัน ต่อสู้ในเรื่องสิทธิในการเข้าถึงยาต้านไวรัส ซึ่งในขณะนั้น การที่ผู้ติดเชื้อจะได้รับยาต้านฯในแต่ละครั้งต้องผ่านระบบโควต้าจังหวัด รวมถึงต้องมีระดับของภูมิคุ้มกันที่ต่ำกว่าปกติมากๆ จึงจะสามารถเข้าถึงยาได้ ..ผู้ติดเชื้อฯ พยายามทำทุกวิถีทางที่จะทำให้ได้รับยาต้านฯ เช่นการไปขอรับโควต้าจากจังหวัดอื่น... การเรียกร้องสิทธิของผู้ป่วย .. การบังคับใช้สิทธิ(CL) .. เพื่อจะทำให้ตัวเองและเพื่อนได้มีโอกาสได้เป็นคนหนึ่ง ที่ "รอด" ชีวิต

ปัจจุบัน (ข้อมูล 21/10/10) มีสมาชิกในเครือข่ายฯ กระจายอยู่ใน 20 อำเภอ มีจำนวน 2,270 คน เป็นผู้ใหญ่ 1,865 คน เด็ก 135 คน ครอบครัวที่ได้รับผลกระทบ 1,680 ครอบครัว เด็กที่ได้รับผลกระทบ 1,813 คน (จำนวนรวม 2,270 นี้มีผู้ที่ยังไม่ได้รับยาต้าน 301 คน) ......

ผู้ติดเชื้อฯ ทุ่มเทแรงกายและแรงใจ ทำงานเพื่อปกป้องเพื่อน (ผู้ติดเชื้อฯ) และ "ผู้ที่ไม่ติดเชื้อ" .. อย่างไร?

หลังจากได้ฝ่าฟันอุปสรรคต่างๆมาด้วยกัน ผ่านพ้นสิ่งที่ "เฉียด" ชีวิตของแต่ละคน .. บางคนสูญเสียเพื่อนไปอย่างรวดเร็ว .. บางคนสูญเสียสามีและลูกน้อย จึงเล็งเห็นว่าจะมีใครที่จะเข้าใจ เห็นใจ และช่วยเหลือเพื่อนผู้ติดเชื้อฯ ได้ดีเท่ากับ ผู้ติดเชื้อฯด้วยกัน ... รวมถึง การปกป้อง "วัยรุ่น ที่กำลังเผชิญปัญหากับสภาพสังคมปัจจุบัน" เพื่อจะได้ไม่ต้องเผชิญกับคำว่า "พลาด" หรือ "ไม่รู้" เหมือนกับที่พวกเขาเคยเผชิญ

พวกเขาเป็นเกษตรกร ...........

...............จบการศึกษาชั้นประถม.......

.........................มีภูมิคุ้มกันต่ำกว่าคนปกติ ....

แต่ศักยภาพ (ทั้งแรงกายและแรงใจ) ของพวกเขาไม่ต่างจากผู้ที่มีการศึกษาขั้นสูงและผู้ที่ร่างกายแข็งแรงทั่วไป . พวกเขาได้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริง...... การให้คำปรึกษาในการรับประทานยาต้านฯ ......การดื้อยา..

สำหรับการจัดการอบรมพ่อแม่ ....พวกเขาสามารถสร้างกระบวนการเรียนรู้ สื่อสารไปยัง "พ่อแม่" ให้เปิดทัศนะในเรื่องของเพศรอบด้าน ...การให้คุณค่า ....ได้อย่างเข้าใจและตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการป้องกัน ก่อนที่จะ "สาย" เกินไป .. กระบวนการเปิดใจพ่อแม่ ให้เตรียมพร้อมที่จะสร้าง "ภูมิคุ้มกัน" ให้กับลูกๆ

ระหว่างที่ฉันได้มาเป็นอาสาสมัคร งานอีกอย่างหนึ่งของฉันคือ การเป็นผู้สนับสนุนวิชาการให้กับเครือข่ายฯ พร้อมกับการสร้างความยั่งยืนให้มีอยู่ในท้องถิ่น ......

ฉันมีความประหลาดใจในศักยภาพของพวกเขา ...ไม่น่าเชื่อว่าการศึกษาของไทยนั้นไม่สามารถวัดผลในเรื่องความมีประสิทธิภาพได้เสมอไป ... ทุกครั้งที่ฉันได้ร่วมประชุมและทำงานกับพวกเขา .. ฉันรู้สึกว่า "ฉันกำลังประชุมกับ คนที่จบมาจากต่างประเทศ" ...

ทุกๆ คน กล้าคิด กล้าทำ กล้าแสดงความคิดเห็น ... กล้าสะท้อน (Reflection) และพร้อมที่จะพัฒนาตัวเองอยู่ตลอดเวลา พร้อมที่จะเปลี่ยนแปลงตัวเอง และมีความมุ่งมั่นในการทำงานหนัก ความตั้งใจที่จะไปให้ถึงเป้าหมาย .....

อาชีพหลักของพวกพี่ๆ คือชาวนา อาชีพที่ทำด้วยใจคือการเป็นอาสาสมัคร (ระหว่างที่มาเป็นวิทยากรอบรม ก็ต้องทิ้งภาระการเกี่ยวข้าวเอาไว้ก่อน ) เดินทางมาจากต่างอำเภอฯ ด้วยมอเตอร์ไซด์ ระยะทางไปกลับ กว่า 100 - 200 กม. เพื่อมาจัดเตรียมการอบรม "การสื่อสารเรื่องเพศ ระหว่างพ่อแม่ และผู้ปกครองที่มีลูก หลานเป็นวัยรุ่น" ...ในอำเภอเมือง และ อำเภอศรีรัตนะ และจะขยายผลต่อไปในอำเภอต่างๆ

ยุทธศาสตร์การทำงาน 4 หมวดงาน
1) งานเข้าถึงการรักษา : ให้ผู้ติดเชื้อทุกคน เข้าถึงการรักษาที่ได้มาตรฐาน ทั่วถึง เท่าเทียม ผลักดันการทำงานในระดับนโยบายเพื่อให้ยามีราคาถูก ผลักดันการมีส่วนร่วมในระบบหลักประกันสุขภาพ โดยสามารถเป็นผู้ร่วมให้บริการได้

2) งานเด็ก : ทำให้เด็กเข้าถึงการรักษา และให้คนในสังคมเข้าใจว่าเด็กติดเชื้อสามารถเติบโต และมีชีวิตยืนยาวได้

3)งานชุมชน / งานรณรงค์ : ทำให้คนในสังคมเข้าใจเรื่องเอดส์ เข้าใจเรื่องการติดต่อ การป้องกันและการอยู่ร่วม รวมถึงการเคารพเรื่องสิทธิมนุษยชน
4) งานพัฒนาเครือข่ายฯ : ทำให้กลุ่มและเครือข่ายผู้ติดเชื้อเข้มแข็ง สามารถแก้ปัญหาของตัวเองในระดับพื้นที่และประสานเชื่อมโยงเป็นเครือข่ายฯได้

สำนักงานเครือข่ายฯ ที่กำลังรอผนัง และหลังคา (คาดว่าถ้ามีทุนเพียงพอ สิ้นปีนี้ หลังจากงานอบรมพ่อแม่ และหลังจากเกี่ยวข้าว .. พวกพี่ๆ จะได้มาร่วมกันสร้างสำนักงานด้วยกัน

Lovecare : Facilitation of client-friendly health delivery systems and improving access to health services for HIV prevention and sexual health.

4 Testings VCCT ( Voluntary Confidentcially Counseling Testing )

1) HIV pre-post test counceling
2) STI ( Sexual Transmision Infected)
3) Youth sexual reproductive health service
4) HPV (Papsmear)

HIV infection is spread in three ways:
1) Sexual intercourse
2) Direct contact with infected blood
3) From an infected mother to her unborn child.

80% HIV infection from the sexual intercourse.

Specially Day on PATH team Meeting

Notes: Sisaket is the first province which have many projects (Lovecare, Teenpart, Parenting, ท้องไม่พร้อม)

Around 32 participants 4 areas from Thailand (Central, North, Northeast and South ) lead by Khun Pawana, PATH Director.

Khun Nong, Pawana ... she is so nice leader friendly, sincerity and good spirit . No doubt why everyone in Path including myself love her. She also be the nice Activist.

The begining we did introduction then mobilized and shared the projects which we never known. (ให้พูดถึงโครงการที่เราไม่เคยรู้ หรือรู้น้อยที่สุด) ... I thought that method could builded us to be enthusiastic person. If we presented something wrong .... the owner project will add and adjust.... eventually we will get more lerning.

My manager: P'Maew Waranuch (letf side). She is very wise and expertist she is my role model.

Very greatful with P'Aor Hatairat (Expert speaker who wore brown T-shirt) she will take leave to be Bhikkhunis (สามเณรี) on 4-5 December, .. she is my idol and also she is belove colleauge of all Path team.

I felt amazing on this meeting All staff have worked hard for helping people and never been exhuased... they were enjoyable ... relaxing whilts were in the meeting.

I am welcomed seem be part of thier family (Both places BKK and Sisaket )... I feel like that.... They are my family!

A Day with people living HIV/AIDS

One of my assignment is helping to set up financial management for PHA leaders to manage small grants more effectively.

We have many meetings such as a preparation for the "Parenting program" to improve the sexualily education, 3 months meeting for updating situation about CL, Patent, Assisting to set up tools for easier working .... or anyelse which they would like me for helping ......for example ....review the financial report , english translation, making presentation .....etc.

Almost those times we had met together, we were enjoyable .... they treated foods themself " Som Tam" or " Papaya Salad" is famously food in here and it's also very delicous!!!
